The investigation concerns optional outward content federation. ActivityPub is not a requirement for the internal Network/Federation connection model.
We are comparing organizational workflows with the existing Discourse ActivityPub plugin and its controls. A separate CWL plugin need has not been established. Implementation, dependencies and packaging remain open.
